How to use the fake Instagram DM generator
- 01Set the other person's name, handle and photo in People.
- 02Click a bubble to edit it, or add messages from either side.
- 03Add reactions and replies from a message's options; mark your last message Read for “Seen”.
- 04Switch dark mode if you like, then download the PNG.
The gradient, done properly
In Instagram DMs your bubbles shift from purple at the top of the thread to blue at the bottom. Mockling colors each sent bubble by its position, so a long conversation fades just like the real one. Received messages sit in gray with the sender's avatar beside the last bubble of each run.
Replies, reactions and big emoji
Quoted replies appear above the bubble with “You replied to…”, reactions sit on the bubble's corner, and a message that's only emoji is drawn large without a bubble, as Instagram does.

Questions
How do I show “Seen” under my message?
Give your last message the Read status. You can add a time (“just now”, “2m ago”) and switch the label off in the Instagram settings.
Can I add a verified badge?
Yes. Tick Verified on the person in People and a badge appears next to their name in the header.
